Resolutions, Part Deux: Paris, And

Which is to say, dear reader, that I am going to Paris.
Soon. For awhile.
And also to some places that are not Paris, but which are not quite planned yet.

I am very excited.
And a teeny bit nervous.
And feel a little funny for having waited so long to take steps that, compared to other folks' steps, feel a little small.

But we do the best we can. And we are here now. And it will not do to compare. And some things take time.
So. Paris.

(And some other places that are not Paris, but which are not quite planned yet.)

I'm excited for you to join me.

Your steps are big steps, big Amanda sized steps. Some people take no steps and some people take lots of steps very quickly then lie down for a while. It doesn't do to compare.

Aha. Cats and bags and release. Those who have sensitive senses some times have to take this all more slowly. Everything always feels enormous. I hope you go to Scandinavia.

So very, very excited for you. I cannot hardly wait for you to experience all the wonderful things that I know you will experience. Also, your steps = huge. People who say, "Oh yes, Europe/travel, I always did want to go there/do that, but I could never find the time/money" = lack of steps.
love.

Paris is worth however many steps you need to take to get there.

Congratulations.

Wow. That's huge. It was on the list on the post right before this - and it's already a done deal on this post..! Pretty big steps, I'd say...
Exciting, too, even if in the nervous kind of way.... Good for you.

Many thanks to you all for your wonderful, supportive comments. I'm very excited and will provide details as they come about.

And Maria--the list from the last post is an old one: this year's resolutions from January. I'm not that speedy :).
