Right now I feel a little disappeared.
It is a little tricky to be entirely present.
In school they would call roll and I would say *present.*
But today I would not. Today I would sink into my seat.
Sink into my seat and ________.

-Garlic and Sapphires (which is about disappearing and lunch)
-The Graveyard Book (which is sort of about disappearing, and sort of not)
Things the Disappearing Girl Has Eaten:
-Chocolate Rugelach
-String Cheese
-Bananas
-An Avocado

7 maids a-milking:
I would say "The Graveyard Book" definitely counts as a disappearing book. Bod is even taught how to disappear. Which somedays I wish I knew how to do as well.
Don't worry, the chocolate pastries will make you appear again when you're good and ready. Hang in there.

I have gone those places to. I might be in one of those places right now.
I'm re-reading garlic and sapphires right now, one of my favorite escape books. Hope you are doing ok.
hooray for bananas!
I read your posts over and over and I don't know what to say. Because you seem to be communicating with me on a level that is beyond response, beyond the normal ways of communication. The understanding is more like being than doing. I just... get it. Thank you.
Sometimes it is nice to disappear.
L: Close your eyes very tightly and turn around twice.
Meg: I hope you find your way back when you are ready.
C: _________.
And yes. Hooray indeed for bananas. Bananas and pastries.
