Guess what guess what?! The Free People blog is doing their annual Valentine's Day craft swap, and there's just one week to sign up. I've wanted to do a blog swap my whole life, I'm pretty sure. AND NOW I HAVE A BLOG.
(I will not pretend that blog swaps were very far down on my list of reasons to start a blog in the first place.)

What is a blog swap?
It's a way to send/receive fun mail: Everybody signs up, then the organizer sends everyone an address, and you send your person a present in the mail. Since this is a crafty Valentine's Day swap, crafty Valentines will be involved. Fun, no?
And sometimes there are rules, like you have to have a blog so you can "meet" you person via the Internets. Or everything has to be one color, like this one from Marta Writes: http://martawrites.blogspot.com/2007/03/youre-invited.html. Yay!

I too have signed up even though I have a Valentine. We sadly, rarely exchange creative hand made gifts so am looking forward to the creativity of it all. I wonder, how do they match bloggers appropriately?

Yay! Because make a present is hard. Maybe it could be a smaller one. Or make a present, but with all the people round here. Squeeee indeed!
